er is a modern day renaissance man, from teaching Black & White Photography and serving on boards of directors, to retail banking and efficiency consulting, to building computers and watching college football (Go Noles!), he pursues a wide range of interests with great zeal. Always looking for something else to learn drives him to try new things, experience new places, and make new friends. One of his favorite quotes is from Dr. Timothy Leary, “My favorite three words are, ‘I don’t know,’ because every time I say them, I end up learning something.”

Sarasota Shopping: Ringling College of Art and Design: madeby gallery

sarasotacityslicker:

So this is amazing. The Ringling College of Art and Design has a storefront called “Made By”. This gallery features beautiful and inspiring work by current students and alumni of the ever clever RCAD.  They have paintings, jewelry, stationary, bath and body goods, home wares and oh-so-much more! It’s a great shop to give your place a little more artistic flare or to find a unique gift for someone you love (or even just like a little).  According to their site, Ringling College is one of four colleges in the country that offers this type of exclusivity for its students and alumni. All the more reason to check this place out to support the community! http://www.madebygallery.com/
